I am very impressed with the quality and design of these sandals. The moulded footbed ensures my wide foot stays on the sandal and does not overflow which I find can happen with this type of open style. They feel comfortable on but I think I will have a wearing in period around the toe post, which can be adjusted slightly by sliding the knot up or down. I contacted Essen for sizing advice as I am sometimes an AUS 10 and other times a AUS 10.5 and Marre was very helpful ensuring I selected the correct size first time. Looking forward to wearing these all summer.

This was my first time owning a pair form Essen and I was skeptical about the quality as I have experience with higher price point but still pretty average quality from other brands..that's not the case with Essen. So comfortable and timeless. It feels like they were custom made for my feet. Defiantly worth it in my book.
